NASCAR Rollovers

NASCAR Rollovers
How much pressure can a NASCAR race car have?

Talledega race in Ryan Newman said the roll bars are being pushed down on him ... dosent that seem very likely. What if there was a fire that would be caught I guess. F1 is safer if there was a rollover

Good, I can not answer the part about how much pressure you can take a car from a rollover but ... one of the reasons for the TOC was the design of new engines also had the fuel pump off the right side. In this way when their car crashed there would be less likely to ignite the car because the fuel pump damage. Now they have a fuel pump in the rear of the car being driven by cable (if I remember correctly) and any fire in the front of the car must be limited in size and burn rapidly. Hopefully NASCAR can respond fast enough to put one of those fires. NASCAR Ryan Newman could have gotten faster I did, but since I was upside down and respond then took a little longer to make sure that may not be there were some injuries, in addition, they had no knowledge of how he broke his neck or some type of spinal injury. Why not still have roof hatches? I guess NASCAR will to put back into the car because of that wreck. Also here is an article on the fuel tanks and how they are made. I did not even try to write a declaration on security of fuel. I'll let you read it for yourself. Http: / / sports.espn.go.com / rpm / nascar / icons / news / story? Id = 3385906
