Army NASCAR Driver
Minnesota can not be known for big name racing tracks, but racing fans still find their fun and excitement in some of the best tracks the state. The raceway is located in Arlington the Sibley County Fair in Arlington. It's a dirt road ½ mile over its 27 years of providing fun and action for all fans of old. There are six classes of vehicles in the competition every Saturday evening; Yellow Book Hobby, Liberty Station Hobby A, WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, U.S. Army IMCA Sprints and IMCA Modifieds. There will be a variety of events throughout the season, including demolition derbies, IRA Outlaw Sprint to name a few. Tickets start at $ 10.00 per adult.
The Brainerd International Raceway & Resort is home to one of Minnesota tracks the best and most versatile. The track is 3 miles road course with high speed turns and runs straight 1 mile. It also offers a world speed drag strip and grandstands for accommodate over 20,000 fans. Drag Racing is the heart of the BIR and for decades has entertained fans with foot drag racing wheels. The Wednesday night can leave the seats and get on the track. Get on your bike, Street legal or truck and test your skills.
The raceway host events such as National Bracket NHRA Drag Racing, Performance Racing, Street Legal Series, Central Road Racing, High School Street Legal and more. The road course has ten turns that be a professional challenge as well as novices. The Porsche, BMW, Corvette Racing road clubs and holding periodic events in the course of the road. Always dreamed of getting behind the wheel for you? The BIR Performance Driving and Motorsports Donnybrook school can make that dream a reality. High performance Driving School will take from spectator to driver at any time and offer a wide range of classes. Start with professional classroom instruction, followed by a driving tour of the track. Then fit and buckle in a race car. Now, the thrill of driving experience you will never forget!
A variety of packages available classes from $ 295.00 for a single session. Discounts are available for multiple class sessions and for drivers with their vehicles. Car enthusiasts will enjoy visiting the Ellingson Car Museum in Rogers. The museum will give a nostalgic trip through history as you wander through the cars, trucks, motorcycles and cars muscle of the 20 to 70. Videos, photos and memorabilia are on display too. Admission is $ 7.00 for adults and $ 3.00 for children.
